Please note that the Wiburd Shield has changed back to its original format and it will be for students in Year 9 or below in 2024.

Up until the commencement of the 2017/2018 Cricket Season, the NSW Country and City Schools Cricket Association has acted on behalf of all Independent Secondary Schools, with exception to Sydney Metropolitan GPS and CAS Schools, at an Open Age level for cricket.

The NSW Country and City Schools Cricket Association has disbanded and restarted as NSW Independent Schools Co-Ed Cricket. The NSWISCC will administer the Wiburd Shield and the Douglas Shield. The Wiburd and Douglas Shields are school based knockout competitions.
